Most Old School tournaments are played using the Swedish rules (full modern rules, including no mana burn) and Ban & Restricted list, although the reprint policy at events may vary. From 100% Swedish Legal to ICE/CE allowed. This variety makes sure there is something for everyone but it also means you always need to check out what the rules are at the tournament you’re playing.

At The Edge-Man, unless mentioned otherwise, Swedish rules are applied and you can use all reprints with the same name & same frame, including foreign and IE/CE. We do not allow foil cards because they are often curled and can be tracked. Gold boarded World Championship Decks (WCD) cards are also prohibited and, out of principle, so are the 30th Anniversary Edition cards, regardless of their print version.

Errata:
Chaos Orb (2)
Artifact
1, Tap: Choose a nontoken permanent on the battlefield. If Chaos Orb is on the battlefield, flip Chaos Orb onto the battlefield from a height of at least one foot. If Chaos Orb turns over completely at least once during the flip, and touches the chosen permanent, destroy that permanent. Then destroy Chaos Orb.

Falling Star (2R)
Sorcery
Choose any number of non-overlapping creatures on the battlefield. Flip Falling Star from a height of at least one foot. If Falling Star turns over completely at least 360 degrees during the flip, it deals 3 damage to each chosen creature it lands on. Any creatures damaged by Falling Star that are not destroyed become tapped.
Note: For both dexterity cards, you are allowed a “fair flip”; i.e. you may move the card(s) you’re choosing to a different position on the playing area to get a good flip but you may not tear your Chaos Orb into pieces in order to destroy all of your opponent’s permanents. If you are Forking a Falling Star, please note that the copy should not be disrupting the gamestate. So no, you can’t unroll toilet paper across the board and claim you hit all the creatures. This may sound silly, but Old School players can become quite creative but extremely moronic after a few beers.
