The Edge-Man Championship 2026

The main event for the third annual Edge-Man Championship was held on Saturday, January 17, 2026! The tournament was once again held in Tilburg, the Netherlands at Wijkcentrum Jeruzalem and followed the Swedish rules (check our loose reprint policy here).

Prior to the main event there was a truly epic 3-VS-3 Side event called “BattleWorld” on Fridaynight followed by the Edge-Man pre-party. You can ready everything about BattleWorld here!

Special Guest: ANSON MADDOCKS!

Legendary Magic artist Anson Maddocks joining us at the Edge-Man Championship 2026 as our Guest of Honor! His iconic style—so evocative of that early Alpha and Beta magic—has shaped how many of us fell in love with the game.

Anson was available for live altering and autograph signings. Whether you’re hoped to snag a signed print of Sengir Vampire or simply chat about the challenges of illustrating mana-driven horrors, this was your chance.

New Merch

Alongside the excitement of meeting Anson, we dropped brand-new merch inspired by 2026’s theme: BattleWorld — a retro-futuristic dystopia pulsing with neon glow, industrial decay, and raw cyberpunk grit.

Players got a fresh custom patch, new sticker designs, and awesome giveaways. By popular demand, the legendary Wheel of Fortune was back — proudly operated by my daughters, Noor, Suus and Julz!

Many of you will remember the incredible playmat designed by Buddy Jonkers in collaboration with The Edge-Man — a limited-edition gem that became an instant community favorite.

This year, we unveiled an all-new design inspired by BattleWorld!

We had professional alters of your favorite Old School staples — all inspired by legendary retro-futuristic dystopia films like Escape from New York, RoboCop, The Terminator, and more!

There were awesome prizes that channeled the gritty, neon-soaked spirit of these cinematic classics.

Beyond the Top 8, we’ll also rewarded players for spicy brews, thematic builds, and much more. Players really brought flavor — and the fire.
