Atlantic 93/94
THE ATLANTIC 93/94 RULES REFERENCE
Atlantic 93/94
Atlantic 93/94 blends the Swedish and Eternal Central approaches to classic Magic, encouraging a broader metagame through Fallen Empires and a restricted Strip Mine.
Atlantic 93/94 was developed as a deliberate blend of Swedish and Eternal Central rules, with Fallen Empires legal and Strip Mine restricted.
Mana burn remains part of the game. Current Magic rules and Oracle text apply, except for the format’s specific Chaos Orb and Falling Star errata.
The Atlantic rules intentionally do not impose a single universal reprint policy.
Check the Event Rules
Tournament organizers may apply different rules, card printing policies or event-specific rulings. Always check the published tournament rules.
Legal Sets
Atlantic 93/94 uses the classic baseline sets, including Fallen Empires.
Limited Edition (Alpha and Beta), Arabian Nights, Antiquities, Legends, The Dark and Fallen Empires make up the baseline card pool. Atlantic does not prescribe one universal reprint policy. Check your tournament’s policy before choosing editions.
