Boreal 93/94
THE BOREAL 93/94 RULES REFERENCE
Boreal 93/94
The original Old School Magic format, celebrating the earliest years of Magic: The Gathering through its iconic cards, classic strategies and eight early releases.
Boreal 93/94 is a Canadian Old School ruleset originally proposed by the Montreal Tundra Wolves. It expands deckbuilding possibilities by allowing up to four copies of several cards restricted elsewhere.
Its card pool includes Alpha, Beta, Unlimited, Arabian Nights, Antiquities, Legends, The Dark and Fallen Empires. Boreal also has its own Banned and Restricted List.
Mana burn applies: unused mana causes its controller to lose that much life at the end of each step or phase.
